Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Laboratory Technician to join our team on the second shift. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic laboratory environment while working with advanced technology and equipment.
Job Description
- Perform laboratory tests utilizing both conventional and computerized machines.
- Conduct tests in accordance with prescribed standards to assess chemical and physical characteristics of materials.
- Set up, adjust, and operate various laboratory equipment and instruments.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and maintain high-quality standards in all lab procedures.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all test results and lab activities.
- Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues when necessary.
Skills Required
- Candidate must be able to communicate effectively to team members and management staff.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Education/Training/Certifications
- 1-3 years of laboratory experience in Chemistry, Engineering, or a related field.
- A college degree in a relevant field is preferred; however, equivalent education and experience will be considered.
Additional Requirements
- Shift would be Mon-Fri, 1:00 PM to 10:00 AM
Pay Rate
- Up to 27 per hour based on experience
