Position Overview
The ideal candidate will be a Florida-licensed attorney with 1-6 years of plaintiff’s personal injury experience (or 7-25 years for a senior-level position). This role requires strong litigation and trial skills, a deep understanding of personal injury law, and the ability to advocate aggressively for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of plaintiff’s personal injury cases from intake to resolution.
- Handle litigation, depositions, mediations, hearings, and trials as needed.
- Develop case strategies, conduct legal research, and draft pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.
- Work closely with clients, experts, medical professionals, and opposing counsel.
- Advocate for clients in settlement negotiations and at trial.
- Ensure cases progress efficiently while delivering outstanding client service.
Qualifications
- Active Florida Bar License (Additional state bar licenses are a plus).
- 1-6 years of plaintiff’s personal injury experience (Associate Level).
- 7-25 years of plaintiff’s personal injury experience with heavy litigation and trial experience (Senior Level).
- Strong litigation and negotiation skills, with a proven track record of success.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple cases effectively.
- Spanish proficiency is a plus, but not required.
Compensation & Benefits
- Associate Level (1-6 years of experience): $100,000 – $150,000 (based on experience).
- Senior Level (7-25 years of experience): $150,000 – $250,000, with the option for a draw on fees earned:
- Ability to set a target salary and receive 12%-15% of legal fees earned on cases.
- Unlimited earning potential – high performers can achieve seven-figure annual income.
