Key Responsibilities
Participate in all aspects of the updating and continuous improvement of Safety Management System Programs and Public Transportation Agency Safety Plan (PTASP) in accordance with State Safety Oversight Agency (SSOA) and the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) requirements.
- Interprets, executes and recommends changes to established safety policies and procedures.
- Maintains and coordinates emergency preparedness standards for Operations and Maintenance.
- Develops and reviews safety and hazard analyses of Rail Operations and Maintenance and recommends improvements.
