We are seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee a team of maintenance technicians at our Jefferson City, MO location, involved in various activities related to distribution transformer manufacturing. This role includes scheduling maintenance tasks, allocating labor, and coordinating day-to-day operations. The supervisor will ensure the team works safely, maintains production equipment, meets departmental goals, and completes other maintenance-related assignments.
Key Responsibilities:
Direct and enforce the company's safety program for the maintenance department, reviewing safety records to uphold maximum safety standards.
Ensure a safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on equipment use and maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.
Oversee the installation and maintenance of machinery and equipment.
Supervise work performed by outside contractors.
Maintain records, charts, and analyses of maintenance activities.
Assist in troubleshooting machinery and equipment issues.
Train, direct, develop, and supervise employees.
Identify repetitive equipment failures and determine root causes.
Track, analyze, and improve key maintenance parameters such as asset utilization, maintenance cost, PM compliance, and schedule compliance.
Coordinate activities with Plant Operations Departments.
Participate in capital expenditure budgeting, expense budgets, manpower planning, and scheduling.
Manage inventory of critical parts, tools, and consumable resources essential for production equipment operation.
Ensure the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled, and directed.
Understand and work to meet the organization’s KPIs (Key Performance Indicators).
Resolve problems by analyzing data, investigating issues, identifying solutions, and recommending actions.
Use excellent people, coaching, management, and communication skills to accomplish daily deliverables.
Provide clear direction to the work group, set priorities proactively, escalate issues when needed, and build support for issue resolution.

Your Background:
8 years of relevant work experience.
Must have work authorization to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
Previous direct supervisory or similar leadership experience.
Experience advising high-performance work groups and implementing continuous improvement systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrated performance in leadership, change management, and continuous improvement.
Ability to work all shifts and periodic weekends.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively with limited supervision.
Bachelor’s or Associate's degree.
