What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounts Payable Analyst position at HJH Investments?
HJH Investments is seeking an Accounts Payable Analyst as a full-time addition to our team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for schedule flexibility in a fun, team-centric environment.
Daily processing of property invoices, and send for approval to appropriate parties.
- Daily manage workflow of incoming invoices and correspondence in the personal, A/P, and Utility email boxes and physical mail.
- Ensure weekly posting of assigned A/P adjustments.
- Reconcile vendor statements, as necessary.
- Setup and maintain vendors within Appfolio.
- Responding daily to internal and external customers’ questions pertaining to invoice and workorder processing.
- Requesting W9, invoices and updated COI forms as necessary.
- Investigate payments as necessary, resolve discrepancies and trouble shoot based on findings.
- Month-End duties include coordinating workorder posting process, posting workorders for assigned portfolio to appropriate ledgers and issuing statements to tenants.
- Perform A/P Maintenance as needed: create/update AP template and updating department’s SOPs.
- Cross train within the department and assist with projects as needed.
- Provide professional, responsive accounting support.
To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone who:
- 2 years of experience in accounts payable; property accounts payable experience a plus.
- Has strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Is an excellent collaborator and communicator, both written and verbal.
- Is self-disciplined and exercises good judgment.
- Is motivated with a desire to learn and grow within this role and the organization.
