About the Role:
Division Communication Specialist
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate executive visits and assist in managing quality targets for the department.
- Plan and organize all communication and related communications platforms for MN division topics in the Americas region.
- Steer M/MN committee briefings.
- Sponsor activities for the division steering and communication group within the Purchasing and Supplier Network Americas.
- Sustain quality targets and target management process for the division.
- Coordinate communications and focused messaging.
- Prepare briefings and speeches for the senior vice president.
- Support development of the communication strategy for the division with detailed content for plant and regional locations.
- Oversee conception and execution of communication projects.
- Manage division homepage, newsletter, and communication calendar.
- Shape division communications both internally and externally.
- Provide advanced level writing and editing for senior leadership.
- Create a detailed work plan identifying and sequencing activities to complete projects successfully.
- Prepare, consolidate, and edit relevant communications for the Americas, including Mexico and Brazil, to create a marketable storyline for events.
- Develop a schedule for project completion effectively allocating resources and implementing necessary activities.
- Interface with the M-division headquarters' communications department for transparency and escalation of topics.
- Complete special projects for the department as requested.
Requirements:
BA/BS degree in Business, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent of 4 years of experience in communication, marketing, or media related field.
Required Skills:
- 5 years of professional experience in an automotive manufacturing environment, preferably in a steering or communications role.
- 3 years of project management experience.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
German language proficiency
Pay Range and Compensation Package:
USD 35.92/hr - USD 49.39/hr
