Job Description:

We are looking to add a part-time Benefit Enrollment Specialist to join our Employee Benefits team in Waukee, IA. Offering a forward-thinking, innovative, and vibrant company culture, along with the opportunity to share your unique potential, there really is no place like Holmes!

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Process benefits enrollments, changes, and terminations within the applicable insurance carrier online enrollment platforms.
  • Collaborate with insurance carriers and vendors to resolve enrollment issues and discrepancies.
  • Track and report on enrollment metrics, providing insights for continuous improvement.
  • Respond to client inquiries regarding benefits and provide exceptional customer service.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma; college degree preferred.
  • Experience: Some administrative, customer service, or office experience required. Experience in the insurance industry, at a brokerage or provider organization or related field is a plus.
  • Licensing: Active state specific Life & Health/Property Casualty Insurance agent’s license required or the ability to acquire license within three months of hire.
  • Technical Competencies: Invests in understanding and applying insurance principles to consult with clients and meet their strategic needs. Actively contributes to workflows, processes, and deliverables, using agency systems to provide a world-class client experience and ensure compliance. Able to understand clients, prioritize tasks, manage status, and deliver impactful solutions proactively.
