About Us:
Locally owned and family-operated, Montana Food Equipment offers maintenance and repair of food equipment for the western half of Montana.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide vital support to ensure smooth day-to-day operations, manage administrative tasks, and contribute to a productive and collaborative work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external communication.
- Daily billing of customer invoices and calling on past due invoices.
- Manage and organize schedules, meetings, and appointments.
- Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, and presentations.
- Maintain database systems, both physical and digital, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.
- Monitor and order office supplies to maintain an efficient workplace.
- Assist in coordinating team events, projects, and initiatives.
- Provide general administrative support to various departments as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as an administrative assistant, office manager, or similar role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and/or Google Workspace.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- A proactive attitude with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
