Primary Purpose Of The Role

The primary responsibility of the Human Resources Coordinator is to facilitate the processes that support the various functional areas within Human Resources at the manufacturing plant level.

Essential Job Duties

  • Assists with hourly recruitment and interview processes
  • Coordinates onboarding of new employees including offer letter, background check, drug screen, new employee files, I-9 verification, and orientations
  • Assists with processing of terminations
  • File documents into appropriate employee files.
  • Accurately enter, update and maintain employee information in the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) to ensure data integrity and support
  • Responsible for plant communications
  • Assist in plant events
  • Responds to employee inquires regarding policies, procedures, and programs, and directs them to the appropriate resource if unable to assist
  • Organize and maintain records of employee training sessions, ensuring accurate documentation of attendance, completion and feedback to support compliance and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Assist in creating relationships with local organizations, community groups, and educational instructions to support company initiatives, and enhance community engagement
  • Preforms administrative functions as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Skills And Abilities

  • Bilingual – Spanish
  • Working knowledge and practical use of Human Capital Management systems is a plus
  • Experience working with Time and Attendance system is a plus
  • Must be self-motivated with good organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Proficient using PC and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Minimum Associate’s degree in Human Resources or related field
  • 1-3 years of related experience
