Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Optician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of optical products and services, providing exceptional customer service while ensuring patient satisfaction. As an Optician, you will play a crucial role in helping patients select eyewear that meets their visual needs and personal style.

Duties

• Assist patients in selecting frames and lenses that best suit their needs and preferences.
• Conduct measurements for proper fitting of eyewear, including pupillary distance and segment height.
• Educate patients on lens options, coatings, and proper eyewear care.
• Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate with optometrists to ensure seamless patient care.
• Handle retail sales transactions efficiently, including processing payments and managing inventory.
• Stay informed about the latest trends in eyewear fashion and technology.
• Provide support for pediatric patients, ensuring a comfortable experience for children and their families.
• Understand medical terminology related to ophthalmology to effectively communicate with healthcare professionals.

Experience
Experience is a plus, but optical experience is not required. Relevant work experience includes customer service, sales, and previous work in a medical setting.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $11.99 - $12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
