Responsibilities
- Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently while ensuring accuracy in guest information.
- Handle guest inquiries and provide information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
- Maintain effective communication with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Process reservations and manage room assignments using phone systems and hospitality software.
- Address guest complaints or issues promptly and professionally, striving for resolution.
- Conduct night audits as required, ensuring all financial transactions are accurate and complete.
- Uphold high standards of phone etiquette when answering calls from guests or potential customers.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining front desk supplies.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a front desk or guest services role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
- Strong understanding of guest relations principles and practices.
- Proficiency in phone systems and basic computer applications related to hotel operations.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse guests.
