General Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Human Resources Recruiting Assistant to join our team. This position offers the flexibility to work from home. Periodic in-office presence is required for monthly team meetings, events, and training opportunities. The position is based in the Firm's operation center in Brandon, Florida (Tampa Bay area).
As a Recruiting Assistant, you will play a vital role in assisting the HR recruiting team with all recruitment efforts for the firm. Your key responsibilities will include scheduling interviews, coordinating calendars and hiring activities, and maintaining candidate applications. You will have the opportunity to work closely with firmwide hiring managers, directors, and C-level executives. This role requires excellent organization, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, eagerness to learn, a professional demeanor, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Your contribution will be instrumental in ensuring our hiring process is streamlined and efficient.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Assist in scheduling interviews and coordinating the calendars of designated interviewers.
- Distribute interview confirmations and schedules for candidates.
- Maintain and update the recruiting database, including the initial entry of prospects and resumes.
- Receive and process all incoming recruiting correspondence, both internally and externally.
- Maintain communication with candidates and managers throughout the entire recruiting process.
- Post open positions on various job boards and appropriate organizations’ sites.
- Assist with candidate sourcing.
- Help with airline and hotel reservations, as needed, for candidates interviewing in the office.
- May be asked to assist with reference checks and follow up on outstanding items for background checks.
- Special projects and additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in a similar or corporate environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of database management software.
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong verbal, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Confidentiality, diplomacy, and responsiveness.
Required Education:
- Bachelor’s degree.
