The Vice President of Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) will be responsible for leading and executing the company's M&A strategy. This role involves outbound engagement, receiving inbound Confidential Information Memorandums (CIMs), and managing the due diligence process. The VP will coordinate with Sentinel resources on Quality of Earnings and other key due diligence items while also driving acquisition business plan development with any acquisition’s leadership team and internal division leaders on identifying synergies used in the underwriting. Additionally, the VP will lead the sourcing of potential acquisitions, ensure successful integrations, and drive growth unlocks through a coordinated Program Management Office (PMO). The VP will also oversee Holley Performance's overall program management and strategy functions, including the product development phase gate process, the 3-year plan, strategic monthly off-sites, and weekly major project reviews.

M&A Responsibilities:
- Lead outbound engagement and manage the receipt of inbound CIMs.
- Oversee the due diligence process, coordinating with Sentinel on Quality of Earnings and other key due diligence items.
- Source potential acquisitions and lead the integration process to ensure successful outcomes.
- Develop and execute M&A strategy: Align M&A activities with the company's overall strategic goals and financial objectives.
- Identify and evaluate potential acquisition targets: Conduct thorough market research, industry analysis, and competitive assessments to identify promising acquisition candidates.
- Lead due diligence processes: Oversee financial, legal, and operational due diligence investigations to assess the risks and rewards of potential acquisitions.
- Negotiate and structure transactions: Lead negotiations with target companies, legal counsel, and financial advisors to finalize deal terms, including valuation, payment structures, and integration plans.
- Oversee post-merger integration: Manage the integration of acquired companies, including operational, financial, and cultural integration, to ensure successful realization of synergies.
Program Management Responsibilities:
- Drive growth unlocks by running a coordinated Program Management Office (PMO).
- Manage the product development phase gate process.
- Lead Holley Performance's overall program management and strategy functions.
- Establish and maintain a daily stand-up structure and cadence.
- Develop and implement strategic programs: Lead the development and execution of key strategic initiatives, such as new product launches, market expansions, and operational improvements.
- Manage cross-functional teams: Collaborate with teams across departments (e.g., R&D, marketing, sales, operations) to ensure successful program execution and achieve desired outcomes.
- Monitor progress and adjust plans as needed: Track key performance indicators (KPIs), identify potential roadblocks, and make necessary adjustments to program plans to ensure timely and successful completion.
- Communicate progress and results: Regularly communicate program status, challenges, and successes to senior management and other stakeholders.
Strategy Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the 3-year strategic plan.
- Lead strategic monthly off-sites and coordinate all major project reviews.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis: Monitor industry trends, competitive landscapes, and customer needs to identify new opportunities and potential threats.
- Develop long-term strategic plans: Develop and refine long-term strategic plans that address key business challenges and capitalize on emerging opportunities.
- Analyze market data and prepare strategic reports: Analyze market data, competitive intelligence, and financial performance data to inform strategic decision-making.
- Provide strategic guidance to senior management: Advise senior management on strategic priorities, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies.
