Role : Business System Analyst
Location : Hybrid, 2 days / week onsite in Downtown Minneapolis, MN
Contract For Hire : 6 months- must be able to convert to full time employment
Rate : The hourly pay rate range for this position is $56.85$68.31, dependent on qualifications and experience.

Project
Consolidated Audit Trail (CAT) :
- The Consolidated Audit Trail tracks orders throughout their life cycle and identifies the broker-dealers handling them, thus allowing regulators to efficiently track activity in Eligible Securities throughout the U.S. markets.
- 4 primary work streams
- Must have : CAT experience or strong back office experience (Support of Trading or Operations)
Skills Needed
5 years working as a Business Systems Analyst within a financial institution.
High Curiosity
Ability to turn conceptual ideas into business requirements
Ability to ask relevant, probing questions of SMEs, regardless of authority level
Proficient in creating and maintaining business analysis artifacts - Workflows, Data flow diagrams, Data Mapping documents, User Journeys, etc.
Competent in managing JIRA and SharePoint projects, boards, and workflows.
What will you do?
Perform requirements stakeholder analysis to identify impacted or influencing groups and stakeholder requirements, develop plans and accurate estimates for completion of requirements, manage risks, and communicate to appropriate parties.
Develop documents for IT applications, system specifications and test plans, according to existing standards and methodologies.
Elicit the requirements needed to carry out business processes including interviews, intelligence analysis and survey assessments.
Translate business needs, processes, and procedures into a workable system, and articulating on specific software requirements by communicating these requirements with technology experts and business stakeholder.
Collaborate with business architects and other technology staff to deliver project results while implementing risk analysis and meeting required deliverables.
Utilize statistical tools to interpret data sets to identify trends and patterns that could be valuable for diagnostic and predictive analytics efforts.
Collaborating with peer Business Analysts, Project Leads, and IT team to resolve issues and ensuring solutions are viable and consistent.
Mining data from primary and secondary sources, analyzing and reorganizing data in a format that can be easily read.
Utilize statistical tools to interpret data sets, paying particular attention to trends and patterns that could be valuable for diagnostic and predictive analytics efforts.
Manage relationships with external suppliers and service providers to ensure the requirements are met.
