ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Essential Functions :
Exhibits outstanding customer service skills; exudes professionalism and leads by example at all times.
Leads EDI implementation with new customers, ensuring smooth and efficient data interchange between the customer and Holman Logistics.
Facilitate seamless integration with customer ERP systems and work closely with customers with internal teams to understand requirements and deliver customized and innovative solutions.
Develops and maintains standards for transaction processing and data exchange.
Maps, composes, and deploys EDI platforms for efficient connectivity and data interchange between all required parties.
Maintains and monitors EDI processing platforms to maximize uptime.
Works collaboratively with the various departments to align IT strategy with current business needs and future objectives.
Manages all EDI processing to achieve conformance with policies and procedures.
Recommends data formats and ensures that data content and transmission methods are compliant with HIPAA standards, if applicable. Recommends organizational wide policies and procedures for data exchange into and out of the organization, and monitors adherence to those procedures.
Reports all security, privacy and procedure breaches to Executive Management immediately.
Oversees the day-to-day EDI processes; reviews processes on a consistent basis to identify opportunities for improvement.
Maintains consistent communication with management regarding key issues impacting the performance of systems or processes.
Identifies, analyzes, and assists in resolving workflow process problems.
Performs other duties as assigned, including cross-training and coverage of other departments.
IT SUPPORT
Provides excellent customer service to all levels of employees including customers, peers, and leadership.
Assists in general administrative email intake and support ticket management.
Provides Tier One technical support to end-users, addressing hardware, software, and network-related inquiries promptly and efficiently. Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues, either remotely or on-site, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations. Escalate tasks due to need for higher level of technical ability or customer service skills are required.
Troubleshoots hardware and resolves technical issues with OS, MS Office, e-mail, network, etc.
Assists with the coordination of purchases pertaining to computer software and hardware, telephone and other technology systems. Manages hardware procurement, set-up, processing, and deployment.
Assists in setting up and configuring workstations, printers, mobile devices, and other peripherals for employees.
Prepares / disables access credentials.
Assists in asset management, including laptop ordering, tracking, and facilitating returns.
Assists management in identifying opportunities for process improvement within the department.
Creates, follows, maintains and updates as necessary documentation and checklists to ensure efficiency and consistency.
Acts as the point of contact to external users and vendors for various types of support requests.
Communicates with associates across the organization, management specialists, technical personnel and / or vendors to assist with problem-solving and to ensure that technology needs are met for the streamlined success of projects and daily operations.
Coordinates needs with individual departments and other duties as assigned.
Performs other duties as assigned, including cross-training and coverage of other departments.

SKILLS & ABILITIES
Experience : 2 or more years' experience with EDI X12 Transaction Sets and EDI Mapping Applications. Boomi platform experience is preferred. Warehouse / Logistics experience preferred.
Education : Some education in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
Computer Skills : 2 or more years' experience in IT, EDI, and Cyber security preferred. Must have strong working knowledge of Windows Desktop Administration. Working knowledge of MS Office, Excel and Word, and Adobe Acrobat.
Additional Skills : Excellent problem-solving skills, strategic thinking, and demonstrated analytical skills. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal. Proven ability to work with multiple projects with internal personnel and Trading Partners in a professional manner.
