Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain and manage accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
- Reconcile bank statements and financial accounts on a regular basis.
- Prepare financial reports, budgets, and forecasts for management review.
- Manage invoices, expenses, and vendor payments.
- Assist with tax preparation to submit to CPA and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Monitor cash flow and provide recommendations to improve financial efficiency.
- Full-time and in-person position.
Qualifications:
- Minimum five years’ experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office products.
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.
- Strong managerial and communication skills to interact effectively with team members and vendors.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred; relevant certifications are a plus.
- Previous experience in the tourism or hospitality industry is preferred.
