What are the responsibilities and job description for the IT Coordinator position at Holston Home for Children?
This position provides coordination and oversight of day-to-day operations of the Agency’s computer systems and networks.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in related field preferred, or any combination of education, training and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.
- Ability to exhibit a high level of confidentiality.
- Must be flexible and willing to work with occasional changes in scheduling.
- Must subscribe to the Agency’s Mission Statement and Organizational Values.
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain inventory and records for all servers, workstations, mobile devices, printers, and network equipment.
- Assign and reclaim devices as staff onboard and offboard with the Agency.
- Plan and process security updates on all servers, hypervisors, and workstations.
- Coordinate with software providers to support line of business applications.
- Update IT documentation and guides as the environment changes.
- Work with vendors on hardware/software quotes and procurement.
- Perform troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose common issues involving networking, computers, printing, etc.
- Manage any audio, video, or livestreaming needs during Agency events.
- Complete IT tickets and work requests.
Experience with the following platforms and technologies are beneficial:
- Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory
- Microsoft Windows 10 and Windows Server 2016 print servers, file servers, etc.
- Storage area networks and network attached storage
- VMWare vSphere
