About the Job:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Medical Records Technician to join our team at Holzer Health System. As a Medical Records Technician, you will be responsible for analyzing electronic health records, resolving discrepancies, and maintaining accurate documentation.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze electronic health records for accuracy and completeness
- Resolve any reports/records that cannot be matched to the record
- Review all health records for potential quality issues
- Prepare, scan, and index health documents to the EHR according to established protocols
- Respond to internal and external requests for health records with proper authorization
Qualifications:
- High School Graduate or equivalent
- Knowledge of imaging processes preferred
- Experience with Windows, Excel, and intranet/internet navigation tools
- Demonstrated interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
