Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate Caregiver to join our team. The Caregiver will provide assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, or other special needs in a residential setting.
Duties:
- Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
- Implement behavior management techniques as needed
- Ensure resident rights are respected and upheld
- Help residents with social work activities and patient care
- Lift and transfer residents safely when necessary
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes to the nurse
- Maintain a clean and organized living environment for residents
You may be asked to perform tasks not listed.
Experience:
- Prior experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism is preferred
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques is a plus
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Experience in caregiving or healthcare field is beneficial
-CPR and First Aid certification is not required but is a plus if you are certified.
We offer training for those without any experience.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
