JOB SUMMARY:

We are now launching an office in North Dallas, expanding our high-quality services to seniors throughout Texas. As we grow, we are seeking a dynamic leader who can take charge of this new location’s critical early phase—establishing the business, developing key partnerships, and building a strong foundation of caregivers and clients.

Home Matters Caregiving wants to be the most valuable partner to our caregivers and clients. Our Executive Director will be key to driving the team towards a high level of caregiver and client satisfaction, obtaining lifelong referral partners, and driving growth within our market.


QUALIFICATIONS:

Candidates must meet or exceed Administrator qualifications as listed in the Texas Administrative Code, RULE §558.244.

Must meet at least one of the following:

  1. Have a high school diploma or a GED with at least one year of experience or training in caring for individuals with functional disabilities; or
  2. Have completed two years of full-time study at an accredited college or university in a health-related field; or
  3. Be a licensed physician, RN, licensed social worker, licensed therapist, or licensed nursing home administrator with at least one year of management or supervisory experience in a health-related setting; or
  4. Have a high school diploma or a general equivalency degree (GED) with at least two years of management or supervisory experience in a health-related setting


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for day to day operations
  • Lead and develop a purposeful culture
  • Maintain compliance with applicable federal and state accrediting bodies, local rules, and regulations
  • Develop and maintain relationships with referral partners
  • Direct operations to ensure adequate and appropriate care and services
  • Recruit, employ and retain qualified personnel to maintain appropriate staffing levels
  • Ensure ongoing staff development and training
  • Effectively communicate with clients and their representatives, referral partners, and employees
  • Organize public relations and marketing events
  • Participate in local industry networking


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Schedule: Monday through Friday, ability to be on-call
  • Education: HS, GED or Bachelor's degree
  • Experience: Home Care - 3 years

Management - 3 years, preferred


WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

  • Agency office
  • Client homes
  • Skilled, Independent and Assisted Living Communities


JOB RELATIONSHIPS:

  • Supervisor: Chief Operations Officer
  • Supervisees: All agency staff


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to participate in physical activity
  • Ability to work for an extended period of time while standing and being involved in physical activity


COMPENSATION:

  • Job Type: Full-time
  • Salary: $75-100k per year, depending on experience
  • Benefits: Bonus eligible
