SUMMARY AND OBJECTIVES:
Home Telecom is looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician/Electrician to look after and maintain our mechanical equipment, structures, environmental systems, and electrical systems of several buildings. As a Maintenance Technician/Electrician, you will be required to conduct general maintenance inspections, perform routine electrical maintenance, respond to faults and wiring issues, and install electrical appliances for the buildings. You will also construct outbuildings and/or storage sheds.
To ensure success as a Maintenance Technician/Electrician, you should have high-level problem-solving skills, experience working with electrical systems, and good communication skills. Ability to resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Routinely inspecting electrical systems such as wiring, fixtures, and appliances.
- Conducting maintenance repairs on old or faulty fixtures.
- Installing new electrical appliances in buildings.
- Troubleshooting failures and identifying faults and hazards.
- Electrical, carpentry, painting, welding, machine and equipment repairing, plumbing, drywall, countertop work, floor covering, ceiling tile work, roof work, maintaining water filtration systems – small scale.
- Install Conduit, templates, concrete work, pulling cable for access nodes cross connect boxes, CATV access nodes, and power supply for them. Exchange building curb appeal, and install pull boxes and connections along highways.
- Installing, maintaining, and performing preventive maintenance for HAVAC, maintain sprinkler systems/operate sprinkler systems, perform repairs to customers’ homes.
- Record keeping on all work performed.
- Other duties as directed by management.
