Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Guest Service Agent to join our team at a premier resort. This role involves front desk operations, guest relations, and supporting the overall hospitality management of our establishment.
Duties
- Welcome and check-in guests upon arrival, providing them with necessary information about the resort and its amenities.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Manage reservations, including modifications and cancellations, using hotel management software.
- Conduct night audits as required, ensuring accurate financial reporting and balancing of accounts.
- Maintain knowledge of local attractions and events to assist guests with recommendations and bookings.
- Operate phone systems efficiently to manage incoming calls and relay messages to guests or staff as needed.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction throughout their stay.
- Uphold the highest standards of hospitality by maintaining a clean and welcoming front desk area.
Skills
- Strong background in guest services within a resort or hotel environment is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with guests and team members.
- Proficiency in front desk operations and familiarity with hospitality management software.
