We are a small but growing Charlotte, NC based performance digital marketing agency. We've been in business since 2020 and are looking for a key administrative accounting support person for our growing team and client base. This is a fully remote position with occasional in-person meetings in the Charlotte area.
This is an entry level position with room to grow as the company grows. We’re a 7-figure company that has experienced 30% top line revenue growth for 3 straight years and we are looking for future superstars to grow with us.
We would like the person in this role to be based in Charlotte for occasional in-person meetings though this is a primarily a remote position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor, compile and maintain reporting for client and vendor accounts utilizing our various database and SaaS systems
- Assist with light to medium bookkeeping tasks such as A/P and A/R data entry, invoice creation and processing in QuickBooks Online, and reconciling client and vendor accounts in various systems
- Communicate with clients and vendors to resolve accounting issues
- Monitor and follow up on client payments
- Create and manage Google Sheet and Excel spreadsheets for tracking financial data and metrics
- Modify and/or create new processes and procedures within your role
Skills/Requirements:
- Previous success in a remote administrative support role
- Basic to intermediate experience with invoice creation and management in QuickBooks or similar software
- Experience and proficiency in basic to intermediate spreadsheet/database creation/management in Excel and Google Sheets
- Experience in a Google-based work environment (Gmail, Calendar, Sheets, Slides, Docs, Drive)
- Proficient in use of CRM programs such as HubSpot
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively while also working within a team structure
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Critical thinking skills - strong desire and ability to 'figure it out' when presented with a new challenge/opportunity
