Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office by providing administrative support to key administrative personel, managing clerical tasks, and assisting with human resources functions, event planning, DHS System research. This position requires strong organizational skills, effective communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Duties
- Manage daily office operations, ensuring an efficient and organized work environment.
- Serve as the first point of contact, handling inquiries from website, really and Facebook.
- Maintain accurate filing systems for records, ensuring easy retrieval.
- Support team management by coordinating schedules, meetings, and office events.
- Handle administrative tasks such as data entry, Google workspace correspondence, filing staff training files, coordinate maintenance requests and schedule repairs.
- Collaborate with administrative team to do all new employee onboarding and training initiatives.
Requirements
- Proven experience in an administrative or clerical role is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Experience in team management or support is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in office software applications (e.g., google workspace).
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
