homebldr is looking for a motivated and results-driven Account Executive to deliver tailored financing solutions to real estate investors. Our diverse range of loan products covers residential (1–100 units) and commercial investment properties, offering both short-term options (Bridge, Fix & Flip, New Construction) and long-term solutions (DSCR loans) to meet the unique needs of every investor.


The ideal candidate is an experienced professional with a background real estate investment financing (hard money, private money, and/or nonQM) who excels at converting inbound leads into closed transactions. This role demands exceptional sales acumen and communication skills to effectively connect with real estate investors, guide them through the loan origination process, and foster long-term relationships. While experience in mortgage loan originations is preferred, candidates with expertise in general sales, lead conversion, or real estate (e.g., acquisitions, leasing, wholesaling) are highly valued for their ability to adapt and succeed in this dynamic role.


Loan Program and Support:


  • Short-Term Loan Options: Fix & Flip Loans with rates starting at 8.25%, the ability to offer up to 100% LTC, and quick closings in as little as 24 hours. New Construction Loans at up to 95% LTC for experienced developers and 85% LTC for new developers.
  • Long-Term Loan Options: DSCR Loans with leverage up to 85% LTV and interest rates as low as 5.5%. We have specific products for short-term SFRs, long-term SFRs, 2 - 100 unit properties, and commercial properties.
  • Extensive Market Reach: We can provide investment financing solutions in all 50 states.
  • Exceptional Lead Support: Inbound qualified leads generated through top-tier marketing, including SEO, BiggerPockets, social media, and influencer partnerships.
  • High Lead Volume: High volume of qualified inbound leads each week to help you build a strong pipeline.


Tasks and Responsibilities:


  • Convert prospected and inbound leads into live deals and maintain relationship throughout the loan origination process; maintaining contact with borrower by answering questions and responding to issues, and ensuring a quality experience. Convert successfully closed borrowers (closed loan) into a repeat-business, long-term financing relationship.
  • Daily updating and input in the company CRM, logging all contacts and quoted deals, maintaining up-to-date information to assist with management decision-making and marketing initiatives.
  • Develop robust understanding of homebldr's loan programs to be able to competently and confidently communicate to potential borrowers and represent the company with professionalism, knowledge and integrity.


Skills Desired/Required:


  • Experience in a general Account Executive, sales, or originations role, mortgage lending, real estate leasing or brokerage a plus
  • Ownership or interested in pursuing ownership of real estate investment properties
  • CRM Software Experience (preferred)
  • Driven and confident, strong Desire to succeed and hit high origination targets
  • Positive attitude, accountability and ability to thrive with a commission-based compensation structure

***This is a fully commission-based role; however, there is a strong likelihood that we will achieve the success needed to offer base salaries within the next 6 to 12 months.
