The Homewood High & Dry Marina, located on the West Shore of Lake Tahoe, is currently hiring seasonal full-time or part-time Forklift Operators / Boat Haulers to join their team during the summer.
About Homewood High & Dry Marina
Located along the beautiful shoreline of Lake Tahoe, CA Homewood High & Dry Marina has been serving the Lake Tahoe area since 1967 and was the first marina in Lake Tahoe to utilize dry rack storage. Positioned nearly at the center of the West Shore, the Marina consists of indoor and outdoor dry rack storage, and on-the-water buoy storage. In addition, Homewood High & Dry Marina offers on-site boat service and features a harbor with four launch bays, three fueling stations with a public fuel dock, two DC fast chargers for on-the-water electric boat charging, two eFoil charging stations, and a head pump out.
Forklift Operator / Boat Hauler Overview
Seeking a driver/operator to join our team as a Forklift Operator and Boat Hauler. Utilizing marine-grade forklifts the Forklift Operator will launch and store customer boats into the water during the summer. In addition this position will be responsible for hauling boats on trailers by truck to and from our offsite storage facility in the spring and fall. The applicant must be responsible, possess a Class C driver's license, place an emphasis on safety, customer service, and accountability, and communicate well. The applicant will be responsible for daily forklift, vehicle, and trailer inspections and must be willing and able to complete other routine maintenance on the property.
