Direct Mail Marketing Manager
Position Type: Full-time, salaried position. This is a hybrid position which will only require occasional travel into the office.
Job Summary:
The Direct Mail Marketing Manager is responsible for spearheading direct mail initiatives to drive growth for our energy efficiency business. This role will encompass strategy development, creative testing, and operational oversight of direct mail campaigns.
The?Direct Mail Marketing Manager will lead our direct mail efforts from audience segmentation, direct planning, execution, and analysis. The Direct Mail Marketing Manager will be responsible for interpreting data analytics to drive homeowner engagement, improve campaign performance, and achieve our customer acquisition goals to support company revenue targets and field staff calendar optimization.

- Direct Mail Strategy and Operations:
- Plan, execute, and optimize direct mail campaigns, ensuring alignment with business objectives and brand guidelines.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align capacity and messaging.
- Develop and implement testing methodology to optimize results.
- Manage print vendors and oversee logistical aspects of campaigns, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effectiveness.
- Creative Development and Analysis:
- Develop segmentation strategies to target the right audience with personalized and impactful messaging.
- Collaborate with design and copy teams to innovate and test new formats, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and messaging.
- Analyze campaign performance using relevant metrics and tools, providing insights to stakeholders.
- Implement sustainable creative rotation strategies to maintain campaign freshness and effectiveness.
- Market Expansion and Process Improvement:
- Identify new segments and develop go-to-market strategies to capitalize on emerging opportunities.
- Balance short-term tactics with long-term strategic planning, considering market trends and competitive landscape.
- Enhance campaign management processes for efficiency and accuracy, leveraging automation tools and best practices.
- Monitor campaign performance metrics (e.g., response rates, LTV) and provide actionable recommendations for improvement.
- Manage budgets, timelines, and vendor relationships for all direct mail initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain a clean, organized, and actionable customer database.
- Perform additional tasks as required.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelors degree in marketing, business, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of marketing experience, emphasizing direct-mail B2C response.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and related software, i.e. Microsoft Excel, Power BI, or similar.
- Familiarity with marketing automation platforms and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines simultaneously.
- Knowledge of direct mail production processes, postal regulations, and best practices.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate across teams and levels.
- Requires proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating in English.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This is an individual contributor position with no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment:
Remote position: This position is in the employees residence and requires the employee to have a workspace free of distraction during work hours to perform job duties.
Physical Demands:
· Requires sitting at a desk for long periods of time, performing tasks on a computer, the ability to move within the office to attend meetings, access equipment, or interact with colleagues.
