HB seeks a BI Analyst to work on the Business Intelligence team, supporting cross-divisional initiatives. This position is NOT REMOTE and is located in-person, in Atlanta, GA. This role supports the Manager of Business Intelligence and will work closely with HB’s VP of Operations, Client Service teams, CRM team, IT team, external stakeholders and others to establish and maintain data pipelines, dashboards, and tools. This role receives training on relevant HB processes, procedures, and systems but requires resourcefulness in learning and applying new technical data skills within HB’s ecosystem and user needs.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Learn internal and external data structures
- Design, organize, and implement data pipelines
- Design and build self-sustaining dashboards and tools within the Microsoft Power Platform, tailored to various stakeholders, and in compliance with HB’s security and privacy policies
- Analyze and interpret complex data to draw meaningful conclusions
- Prepare and present ad hoc data analysis
- Collaborate with peers and leaders on projects
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- 2-3 years of data analysis or data science experience
- Bachelor’s degree with strong academic performance in a quantitative field or equivalent experience
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in writing complex SQL queries
- Solid problem-solving ability and data curiosity as well as strong skillset in data pipelining, data mining, data consolidation, and data visualization
- Strong communication skills with ability to communicate concepts in business and technical terms
- Knowledge of analytics tools such as SQL, Excel, Power BI, and Power Query required, with knowledge of Hadoop, Python, R, Alteryx, Google Big Query, Tableau or similar apps nice to have
- High level of attention to detail, self-motivation, drive, creativity, and analytical skills directed towards accomplishing HB’s goals of serving clients with excellence, accuracy, and efficiency
- Willingness to learn new tools and processes and adapt to changing priorities
- Must be able to work independently and collaboratively towards collective goals
- Must uphold HB’s mission and core values, and work in-person at the Buckhead office
