Human Resources Manager
JOB SUMMARY
Manages compensation, benefits, associate relations, workforce planning & employment, safety & environmental, corporate governance, and other administrative functions.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

- Recruiting responsibilities for GA and Ohio facilities, when needed for the AL facility.
- Hiring, retention, discipline, and termination for GA facility.
- Maintains compliance with all applicable HR laws as well as industry standards such as TS1694, ISO
14001.
- Long term staffing strategy.
- Administer rules and regulations.
- Pay and job classification and structure.
- Facilitates training for legal compliance.
- Manages health and safety with assistance of Safety/Environmental Coordinator.
- Manages treatment for workers compensation associates through the EHS Coordinator.
- Works with EHS Coordinator on managing workers compensation treatment and legal issues related to case.
- Works with company attorneys as needed for legal matters.
- Assists with Wellness Program and works with clinic to implement/manage.
- Leads HR improvement initiatives, and manages additional projects as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This job includes supervisory responsibility for Human Resources
Specialist, Coordinators and Administrative Assistants.
GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS: EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS

- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, and schedule form.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook or similar application software.
EDUCATION/LICENSURE/CERTIFICATIONS
Prefer candidates with the following education and experience or equivalent combination of education and experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field.
- 3-5 years of Human Resources experience, in manufacturing environment preferred.
- Familiarity with all areas of employment laws, OSHA laws and regulations
- Experience with employee training and development preferred.
- PHR/SPHR certification preferred.
SENSORY/PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
The work environment characteristics described are representative of those an employee typically encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. An employee must be willing to work any shift or required overtime, as needed, on a seven-day work cycle depending on company needs and customer production demands.
