Sanitation Specialist

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented House Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cleanliness and a strong commitment to providing exceptional service in both residential and commercial settings. This role involves performing various cleaning tasks to ensure that spaces are sanitized, organized, and welcoming for our clients.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of residential homes and commercial spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Execute floor care duties such as sweeping, scrubbing, and polishing floors to maintain their appearance and hygiene.
• Conduct carpet cleaning using appropriate techniques and equipment to remove stains and maintain cleanliness.
• Manage housekeeping tasks effectively, ensuring all areas are cleaned to the highest standards.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client needs and preferences during each cleaning session.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or needs for replenishment.
• Adhere to safety protocols while using cleaning products and equipment to ensure a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery.

Requirements

• Previous experience in housekeeping management or custodial services is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with residential cleaning techniques as well as commercial cleaning standards is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to recognize areas that require additional focus or care.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various environments such as hotels or private residences.
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• A willingness to learn new cleaning methods and techniques as needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
