Risk Management Specialist

About the Role:
This Sr HSE Engineer position requires 6 years of experience in HSE engineering. You will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive HSE strategies, ensuring compliance with regulations, implementing proactive safety measures, and promoting environmental sustainability. Your expertise in risk assessment, incident investigation, and regulatory compliance will enable us to mitigate potential hazards and maintain a safe working environment. You will report directly to our Sr HSE Manager, and you will work remotely when you're not on a travel assignment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and execute comprehensive HSE strategies that foster a culture of safety, health, and environmental responsibility.
2. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, permits, and certifications.
3. Implement proactive safety measures, training, and policies to prevent accidents, injuries, and occupational illnesses.
4. Conduct risk assessments and safety audits to identify potential hazards and implement preventive measures.
5. Develop and maintain emergency response plans for HSE-related incidents.
6. Promote environmental sustainability and minimize the environmental impact of our operations.
7. Collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and education on HSE matters.
