Motion Recruitment is looking for a highly skilled Safety Engineer to join their team in the United States.
The ideal candidate will lead and promote a SAFE First Culture, ensuring the facility complies with safety and environmental programs, regulations, and company policy.
Key responsibilities include:
- Performing job hazard analysis to identify loss potential of our systems and processes
- Reviewing location standards, policies, and practices to ensure they are current and in concert with company and/or regulatory requirements
- Training associates, supervisors, and other employees in general safety and environmental awareness, specific program requirements, and specific job requirements
The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and minimum 1-3 years' experience in safety & environmental or engineering role. They should have knowledge of ISO 14000 & OHSAS standards, ability to train large groups of people, and intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Office and general databases/web-based applications.
