Be part of a team that applies its expertise and knowledge to develop, implement and maintain method and processes in the manufacture or fabrication of parts, components, sub-assemblies and final assemblies. Using your technical expertise, you will estimate manufacturing cost, determines time standards and makes recommendations for tooling and process requirements of new or existing product lines. You will add value and expertise to the Phoenix Controls site by identifying cost reduction and yield improvement opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Tool/equipment repair schedule and calibration
- Creation and maintenance of production work instructions (SOP/SOS)
- ProEngineer/Creo/PTC material and drawing creation
- BOM creation and maintenance
- Fixture design/creation and tooling/equipment sourcing
- Interacting with outside vendors to resolve issues and improve performance
- Idea generation and brainstorm solutions
- Team coordination
- Risk analysis
- Coordinate resolution
- Process definition, production line and work cell set-up/maintenance
- Project planning and management for CapEx or automation
- Mentor technicians and provide support to all other company area needs
- Cost improvement analysis and productivity improvements for manufacturing process
- Drive technical solutions and solve everyday issues
