Reporting to the Director of Demand Generation, the Global Marketing Automation Specialist oversees the alignment, implementation, and advancement of Marketing Automation best practices across Honeywell Building Technologies’ (HBT). This role works as part of our Center of Excellence (COE) to help individual business units grow their understanding and usage of Marketing Automation, while providing a central framework to help improve our lead generation and efficiency as an organization. This role will also be responsible for helping to establish a solid foundation of operational programs across Marketo and Salesforce.com to ensure data and leads are flowing accurately.
Responsibilities
include managing our Marketo instance structure, leading any strategic Marketo
related projects, being a go-to Marketo expert for the business, training
business users on Marketo, onboarding new Marketo features and Marketing
Automation technologies, optimizing program execution by implementing
efficiencies such as templates, implementing more complex functionality for
nurture campaigns, optimizing our usage of forms, iterating on our lead scoring
framework, developing KPI’s to show our growth and improvement, and being a
primary contact for any issues that arise in the system.
The
ideal candidate will have a roll up your sleeves mentality and extensive
hands-on experience with Marketing Automation and CRM systems. Marketo
experience is a must and Salesforce.com experience is strongly preferred.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead key projects to improve the Marketing Automation functionality available to the Customer Marketing team, improve our lead management process and automation, and simplify and scale current systems.
- Facilitate strategic Marketo projects including integrations, audits, form structure, email send process, nurture campaign development, data normalization, compliance, subscription management, lead scoring, etc.
- Drive global Marketing Automation standards and best practices across the organization, working with marketing teams in different businesses and regions.
- Maintain all operational programs and ensure that all programs and processes in Marketo are compliant with current data privacy regulations such as GDPR, CANSPAM, CCPA, etc.
- Facilitate the transformation from one-off campaigns to an ecosystem of automated nurture campaigns for our Customer Marketing and e-commerce teams.
- Assist with email execution by maintaining an efficient request process, managing our agency partners, and QAing important programs.
- Demonstrate business impact of Marketing Automation activities such as an increase in leads, improved email performance or better form conversion.
- Diagnose issues with the Marketing Automation process in Marketo and develop effective solutions.
