Execute Honeywell IT strategies to facilitate effective deployment of new analytics business systems to improve Honeywell business results. This role will drive design, adoption, and implementation of BI and analytics capability across HBT and all associated functions. You will work closely with IT Business partners, IT COE’s and business Product Owners to evaluate data insight needs, business problem statements, then analyze, articulate, and contribute to effective delivery of business solutions. You will be the liaison between multiple business functions and IT solutions to define business requirements, perform data analysis, and help design new business applications.
This role will contribute to implementing the analytics roadmap for HBT. The role will develop enhanced analytics and reporting capabilities. You will also monitor performance and quality control plans to identify process improvements.
This role will also include partnering with IT Business Partners for Business Units engaged in analytics implementations, and working to identify and drive contemporary, best-in-class solutions for HBT and Honeywell overall.
Key Responsibilities
· Gather and consolidate business requirements on BI and analytics across HBT lines of businesses functions.
· Perform business requirements analysis, data analysis and initial scoping and sizing analysis on BI and analytics requests.
· Analyze the data from multiple data sources to discover patterns / trends, create reports and share the analysis with the business and IT projects teams.
· Work with Enterprise IT team to fully understand the technology footprint across enterprise data analytics space and create process documentation.
· Partner with the Project Managers & COE’s regarding functional aspects of the projects and remove constraints to project execution.
· Work with BI and analytics development teams to create high level design, size the projects, clarify the business requirements, test the deliverables, and ensure timely delivery.
· Contribute to implementing the analytics roadmap across different functions within HBT and analyze HBT business drivers to determine technology needs.
· Contribute to a solution strategy to drive better adoption of BI and analytics.
· Educate process leadership on the benefits of the “To-Be” design and the change implications for their organization.
