This Senior Communications
Specialist role in the Honeywell Process Solutions (HPS) strategic business unit
will help drive robust content development to propel key HPS strategic
initiatives and campaigns, support all of HPS’ business lines, and coordinate select
inclusion & diversity (I&D) communications. The individual in this
role will regularly contribute to and often lead the production of content for
flagship channels, including e-bulletins, videocasts, town hall meetings,
newsletters, and the intranet. The work to support business lines entails
delivering sound and timely communications counsel to internal partners,
including senior executives; message strategy and development; and content
distribution across several channels.
The individual in this role will be
expected to independently lead significant internal projects – for example, the
writing, editing and management of key presentations and messages – building
support among key stakeholders and partners in the process.
Like all members of the
Corporate Communications function, this individual will be expected to track,
analyze, and leverage analytics to improve the quality and strategic direction
of message design and delivery.
A successful candidate
will be able to work independently and in a team, take initiative, and
effectively interact with all levels of the organization. This individual will
be a skilled business writer who consistently crafts messaging with creativity
and economy and is technically savvy to work across digital multimedia
platforms to produce articles, mass emails, blogs, videos, and podcasts.
This role is based in Houston TX. Reports to the Director, Communications, HPS.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic and tactical communication plans.
- Manage communications projects from inception to measurement reporting.
- Develop content (email
messages, articles, blogs,
videos, podcasts, infographics,
news releases, etc.) and update - Communications channels – including web and online social collaboration tools –
and identify new or expand use of existing tools - Craft speeches and talking points
- Coordinate and facilitate vendor relationships
- Collaborate
cross-functionally and across Honeywell communications on projects
in support of the business and function
