Job Description:
As a NVH Test Tech, you will be responsible for:
- Preparing and/or setting up test equipment
- Performing minor automotive mechanic work as required for testing.
- Completing part changes as required for testing.
- Conducting Track or In Dyno tests, documents test set-up, and processing test results
- Verifying testing accuracy thoroughly and determining if additional testing is needed.
- Clearly communicating test results
- Completing additional tasks as needed
To be considered as a NVH Test Tech, you will need:
- 2 years' experience with instrumentation (microphones, accelerometers, tachometers, g-meters, load cells, shakers, telemetry, etc.), and data collection.
- Valid driver's license and good driving record
- Ability to drive and pass MVR standards.
- Test planning and time management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office packages (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Ability to communicate clearly with a broad range of people including mechanics, engineers, and management.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or U.S. lawful permanent resident allowing for ITAR compliance.
- Excellent knowledge of instrumentation, test equipment, or data processing techniques
- Experience with Microsoft Office products.
- Skills to multi-task and be a team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Requirements:
- NVH data acquisition and use of analysis tools (LMS Test Lab, HEAD Acoustics Artemis, B&K Pulse, Prosing DATS, MATLAB, etc.)
