As a NVH Test Tech, you will be responsible for:
• Preparing and/or setting up test equipment
• Performing minor automotive mechanic work as required for testing.
• Completing part changes as required for testing.
• Conducting on Track or In Dyno tests, documents test set-up, and processing test results
• Verifying testing accuracy thoroughly and determine if additional testing is needed.
• Clearly communicating test results
• Completing additional tasks as needed
• 2 years experience with instrumentation (microphones, accelerometers, tachometers, g-meters, load cells, shakers, telemetry, etc.), and data collection
• Proficiency in MS Office packages (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Ability to communicate clearly with a broad range of people including mechanics, engineers, and management.
• Excellent knowledge of instrumentation, test equipment, or data processing techniques
• Skills to multi-task and be a team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
Preferred Requirements:
• NVH data acquisition and use of analysis tools (LMS TestLab, HEAD Acoustics Artemis, B&K Pulse, Prosing DATS, MATLAB, etc.)
