Job Summary
The NetSuite Administrator is responsible for optimization, support, and expansion of the Hoover’s Hatchery NetSuite platform to support the growth and scale of the business. This role will ensure smooth operations across eCommerce and NetSuite in a fast-paced environment, as well as contribute to overall IT strategy, system governance, and operational efficiency. This role requires a blend of finance and operations business process knowledge in the areas of supply chain, inventory management, manufacturing, project management, business application integration management, and NetSuite technical expertise. The ideal candidate will work cross-functionally with internal teams and multiple IT vendors and perform ongoing updates, monitoring, and support of NetSuite and related systems environments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement NetSuite strategies that align with the company’s business objectives
- Oversee IT projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
- Create and manage system governance, as well as policies and procedures for usage
- Develop training guides and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for processes related to NetSuite and eCommerce
- Identify, document, and resolve system bugs while ensuring timely communication with impacted teams
- Provide day-to-day technical support to business users, addressing and resolving NetSuite functionality and configuration issues
- Collaborate with external partners to resolve system and project-related issues when needed
- Develop, maintain, and optimize saved searches and write reports
- Develop and implement customizations using SuiteScript 2.0 to enhance system capabilities
- Automate and streamline business processes through SuiteFlow, building and troubleshooting custom workflows, scripts, and reports
- Oversee data import/export processes (e.g., CSV, Excel, web services) to ensure data integrity
- Perform user onboarding and offboarding
- Perform system updates and regression testing, and evaluate new features for company use
- Collaborate with other departments to identify and address needs and opportunities
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of the system and vendors, ensuring high levels of service and support
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement
- All other duties as assigned by management
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, information systems, computer science, or related field
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in ERP systems, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in NetSuite
- NetSuite Administrator Certification preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Experience working in a manufacturing and distribution environment
- Experience with inventory management
- Experience with eCommerce
- Experience with data analytics and reporting tools
- Must be willing to work and excel in a fast-paced environment with rapid growth
- Excellent project management skills, with a track record of successfully delivering IT projects
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
