Hope Harbor, Inc.: A Sexual Trauma Recovery Center is hiring a full-time (40 hours/week) Prevention Coordinator. This position is based out of the agency's Bowling Green, Kentucky office, but performs duties in the community setting (60% of the time).
Hope Harbor is dedicated to educating the community about the prevalence of sexual harm, resources available, and prevention strategies to reduce interpersonal violence. The Prevention Coordinator is responsible for planning, preparing, and implementing prevention education programs relating to Green Dot for High Schools and It’s My Space. Prevention Coordinator is expected to maintain working relationships with school contacts and to actively recruit new schools interested in receiving our programs.
Benefit package includes Kentucky State Retirement and vacation/sick time accrued monthly.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; or high school diploma and at least four (4) years of applicable experience.
- Outstanding oral and visual presentation skills to engage a variety of populations including adults, children, adolescents, and teens.
- Ability to evaluate program effectiveness
- Must be willing to travel within Barren River Area Development District
- Available for on-call shifts after business hours and some weekends
