Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and supervision of the day habitation services/staff
- Support the Day Hab Area Lead and Community Services Area Managers in developing daily schedules and activity planning which focuses on the Individual Support Plan outcomes and client choice related to integrate community settings, client choice, etc
- Assure scope of Day Habilitation services are being carried out in accordance with Federal/State requirements.
- Provide documentation training to employee and complete documentation as needed which meets the requirements of all appropriate accreditation/licensing and other regulatory bodies
- Provide daily QA of Day Hab staff documentation notes per agency requirements
- Provide administrative support which promotes positive service outcomes, age appropriate activities, client choice, and integrated community involvement
- Responsible for supporting the implementation of the agency Performance Measurement System and Strategic Direction Plan for Day Habilitation Services. Provide measurement and outcome reports as needed
- Coordinate and work in cooperation with all department/agency management and personnel to ensure that persons centered services are carried out in accordance with Client Support Plans
- Fiscal oversight of budget that assures stability of operations and services
- BA or BS degree in related field or 5 years of supervisory experience
- Ability to teach, train and motivate others to perform to the best of their ability
- Strong interpersonal/counseling skills to work with clients individually and in groups
- Excellent writing, editorial and communication skills
- Skill in Behavior Management
