Responsibilities
- Deliver quality health and safety services to clients in a school setting.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Support Registered Nurses in developing and implementing care plans.
- Carry out specialized procedures as directed by physicians.
- Recognize and respond to social and economic challenges affecting clients.
- Teach self-care techniques to clients and their families.
- Foster a cooperative team environment.
- Participate in in-service programs and advocate for client needs.
- Prepare clinical and progress notes.
- Report client symptoms, reactions, and changes to appropriate personnel.
- Assist with rehabilitation and habilitation of clients.
- Coordinate services with family, physicians, and other disciplines.
Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted LPN license in Rhode Island.
- Experience in Home and Community Based Services preferred.
- Pediatric experience preferred.
- Solid clinical skills and experience.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Professional demeanor and appearance.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Reliable transportation.
