Job Summary

• Provide health and safety services to clients in a school setting.
• Ensure compliance with relevant rules and regulations.
• Assist Registered Nurses in carrying out care plans.
• Perform specialized procedures as directed by physicians.
• Recognize and respond to social and economic problems affecting clients.
• Teach self-care techniques to clients and their families.
• Foster a cooperative team environment.
• Participate in in-service programs and advocate for client needs.
• Prepare clinical and progress notes.
• Report client symptoms, reactions, and changes to appropriate personnel.
• Assist with rehabilitation and habilitation of clients.
• Coordinate services with family, physicians, and other disciplines.

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted LPN license in Rhode Island.
• Experience in Home and Community Based Services preferred.
• Pediatric experience preferred.
• Solid clinical skills and experience.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Professional demeanor and appearance.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Reliable transportation.
