As an Accounts Receivable Specialist at Horizon, you will…
- Ensure timely receipt of revenue from Insurance plans
- Identification of payment and denial trends
- AR follow-up and collection, including replacement claims and appeals & maintaining workspace
- Work with Insurance Representatives and fielding payer calls to resolve claim processing issues
- Maintain current knowledge of assigned payer processes & updating documents / files as needed
- Run monthly cohort meetings for assigned payer groups
- Act as the expert and team resource for assigned payers
- Assist with month end processing including write offs and AR clean up
- Please note that this is not an accounting / finance position.

Hours :
Full-time, flexible daytime hours, Monday – Friday
Compensation
Horizon is consistently evaluating our compensation and benefit packages to ensure we remain competitive. This position starts at an hourly rate of $20.95 - $23.95. Compensation adjustments are evaluated annually.
