We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Leasing Agent to join our team. Responsibilities
- Conduct property tours and showcase available units to prospective tenants.
- Manage the leasing process from application through move-in, ensuring all documentation is completed accurately.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing tenant inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
- Maintain relationships with current tenants to encourage lease renewals and referrals.
- Assist in property maintenance coordination and communicate repair needs to the facilities management team.
- Utilize Buildium software for data entry, lease management, and tracking tenant information.
- Implement upselling techniques to maximize rental income and occupancy rates.
- Stay informed about local housing laws, including regulations, to ensure compliance in all leasing activities.
- Collaborate with sales teams to develop marketing strategies that attract potential tenants.
- Handle conflict management effectively to maintain a harmonious living environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience in customer service, sales, or property management is preferred.
- Familiarity with facilities management and property maintenance processes is a plus.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally.
- Knowledge of regulations is desirable but not mandatory.
- Proficient in data entry and comfortable using software applications such as Buildium.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- A strong attention to detail and organizational skills are required.
