What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounting Clerk position at HORIZON MANAGEMENT & CONSULTING GROUP?
Horizon Management & Consulting Group is seeking a part-time or full-time Accounting Clerk. The Accounting Clerk reports to the Controller and is responsible for performing account receivables/payables, cash reconciliations, deposits, payroll, billing, and adjusting general journal entries for multiple entities.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Prior accounting or bookkeeping work experience required
- Experience with QuickBooks and payroll processing required
- Skilled in verbal and written communication
- Skilled in organizational and clerical skills
- Skilled in data entry
- Basic telephone and reception skills
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently with a team
- Ability to problem solve
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to meet deadlines in a timely matter
- Possess a valid driver's license and vehicle insurance
- Must be able to pass drug screen and mandated background check
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
