We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Clerk to join our team. The Accounting Clerk will be responsible for various financial tasks which includes financial record maintenance and transaction processing to support the accounting department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounts receivable and accounts payable. Additionally, experience in the areas of Union based payroll processing and experience reconciling the general ledger is desirable.

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in California, IES is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. A reasonable estimate of the current pay range for this position is $47,840 to $58,240. This compensation range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skills sets, experience and training, licensures and certifications, education, and other business and organizational needs. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.

Requirements:- Process deposits and apply cash transactions to customer accounts
- Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data
- Process refunds on customer accounts
- Maintain procedures of the position
- Respond in a timely manner to requests for financial information
- Support other positions within the accounting department
- Perform all financial tasks as request by supervisor
**Skills Desired**
- Experience in general ledger reconciliation processes
- Knowledge of accounts receivable procedures
- Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite
- Competent in bank reconciliation processes
- Experience in software applications with an emphasis in job costing
