PURCHASING AGENT

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop profitable purchasing strategies
- Assess supplier/vendor profiles and analyze offers
- Prepare and implement effective negotiation tactics
- Manage relationships with key suppliers/vendors to maintain quality of goods, timely delivery and compliance to terms of contracts
- Review supplies/equipment to ensure quality
- Monitor inventory levels
- Prepare and submit detailed reports (revenues, buying expenditures etc.)
- Keep updated records
- Develop and sustain a level of professionalism among staff and outside contacts.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be technology savvy
- Minimum 2 years of purchasing experience
- Ethical behavior when dealing with sensitive financial information
- High level of accuracy and efficiency
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Courteous, professional manner, with a strong service-oriented mindset
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $22.00 per hour
