What are the responsibilities and job description for the Skippy - 2nd Shift Operator Positions position at Hormel Foods?
The Skippy Foods Plant has 4 openings for machine operators on second/third shift.
The employees in these positions will safely perform forklift and machine operator activities involving high quality finished product. This will require the operation of one or more machines or pieces of equipment in support of an entire manufacturing facility that makes peanut butter. These employees will also be assuming various roles in a team based environment.
Must be willing and able to work overtime, 8 or 12-hour work shifts and weekend work assignments. Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds.

NEW EMPLOYEES
New hires at our facility are immediately placed on a 3 month probationary period. During this time, employee attendance and performance is closely monitored. While on probation, management reserves the right to move an employee to a different position anywhere in our manufacturing facility to suit the needs of the business. Second and third shift employees also receive an additional $1.00 per hour shift differential.
