SUMMARY :
This position works on the Database and Middleware team with a focus on purchased department and enterprise applications, middleware, and cloud solutions. The role will require working some nights and weekends to perform upgrades and installs during non-production hours as well as provide third level support. The Ideal candidate will have experience with J2EE servers such as Websphere, Weblogic, JBOSS etc...
Level of position will be determined based on previous experience and qualifications.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Is responsible for executing enterprise system design, installation, configuration, and maintenance of purchased applications
- Is responsible for researching, implementing, and maintaining application and platform security to ensure environment stability
- Is responsible for solving complex system performance and technical problems, as well as developing and following well documented change control procedures
- Is responsible for coordinating SSO configurations with Azure Active Directory team allowing applications to utilize Single Sign-on and Multi-factor Authentication.
- Is responsible for the architecture, planning, implementation, and maintenance of Java (J2EE) Application Servers, such as JBoss, WebSphere and WebLogic.
- Is responsible for creating scripted automation with high technical competence, in several different languages.

LOCATION : Austin, MN - Global Headquarters Preferred. We are also open to candidates requiring a flexible work arrangement in a location within a drivable distance to our office in Austin, MN. For example Minneapolis, MN, Des Moines, IA, etc. Occasional trips to our HQ office may be required.
Pay Range & Benefits :
At Hormel Foods, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The base hiring pay range for this role is between $76,700-$156,000 per year, and your actual base pay within that range will depend upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skill set, level of experience, and geographic market location.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS : Travel may be necessary 10% of the time
